Chicago Man Charged with Armed Robbery
CHICAGO – A Chicago man faces multiple armed robbery charges. He allegedly robbed six people at gunpoint during meetups for online marketplace purchases last month.
Bryant Welch, 19, was arrested on Monday in the 700 block of East 111th Street.
According to police, the string of armed robberies occurred last month. All victims were males, aged 18 to 26.

Police stated that Welch was one of multiple suspects involved in the robberies. It is unclear how many other offenders were involved.
Welch is scheduled to appear in court for a detention hearing on Tuesday.
