Drug Bust in Ford Heights Leads to Arrests and Seizures
FORD HEIGHTS, Ill. – A drug bust in suburban Cook County last week resulted in the arrest of two men and the seizure of several items, including dogs, guns, weapons, cocaine, and cash.
Details of the Investigation
The Cook County Sheriff’s Office reported that an investigation into a drug sale led to a search warrant. This search took place in the 1400 block of Deer Creek Lane in Ford Heights last Wednesday.

Arrests and Charges
Jason Thomas, 49, and Jermaine Thomas, 49, were taken into custody, according to the sheriff’s office. Police alleged that neither man had a FOID card or concealed carry license.
Both men were charged with manufacturing and delivery of cocaine, cocaine possession, and possession of a weapon by a felon.
Aftermath of the Bust
The dogs were turned over to Cook County Animal Control. Both men were held in Cook County Jail following an initial court appearance.
