Jamie-Lee Arrow has spoken about her father, Isakin Drabbad, known as the “Skara Cannibal.” He murdered and ate his girlfriend, Helle Christensen, in 2010.

In 2010, Isakin Drabbad killed Helle Christensen and consumed parts of her body. He was found guilty of murder in 2011 and committed to a mental health facility. By 2020, he became an outpatient and received an apartment in Sweden.

Jamie-Lee described her childhood home as like “stepping into a horror movie.” She recalled that her father and Helle initially seemed “very happy” together. However, their relationship worsened, and Helle warned Jamie-Lee about Drabbad’s intentions.

On ITV’s This Morning, Jamie-Lee shared a chilling memory. Helle cooked for her and said, “enjoy your meal, cause this is the last time I’ll ever cook for you because Isakin is going to kill me.” Jamie-Lee felt scared and believed Helle meant it.

Argument Before the Murder

Before her death, Helle, a 40-year-old mother of five, and Isakin had a heated argument lasting over 24 hours. Jamie-Lee and Helle’s two children were present. Jamie-Lee said, “They were throwing plates, pushing each other, throwing knives.” She feared for their lives.

The Murder

On November 12, 2010, Isakin Drabbad, 32, murdered Helle. He used a knife to slit her throat, decapitate her, and cut pieces of flesh from her body. He cooked the flesh with salt and homegrown cannabis leaves.

Jamie-Lee learned about Helle’s death from her mother. She asked, “Was it Dad?” and her mother confirmed it. Jamie-Lee did not understand the full story until her father told her.

The murder became one of Sweden’s most infamous cases. In the documentary Evil Lives Here: The Killer Speaks, Jamie-Lee shared details about her upbringing. She described her father’s house as filled with “darkness and misery.”

Father’s Obsession

Jamie-Lee said her father was “obsessed with Satan.” He spoke about the devil and demons. He even gave her a satanic bible when she was 11 years old. She felt he had a “distorted worldview.”

Maintaining Love for Her Father

Despite the horrific past, Jamie-Lee maintains her love for her father. She said, “I think it’s impossible to stop loving a parent.” She added that he cannot be part of her life, nor does she agree with his actions.
