LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TWP., Pa. (WPVI) — A driver is wanted for intentionally ramming his car into three people in Bucks County, critically injuring one of them.

Charges Against Roba Gasitashvili

Police are looking to charge 22-year-old Roba Gasitashvili from Philadelphia with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and related offenses.

Details of the Incident

The incident occurred at 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day outside the Hive Lounge on the 100 block of Bustleton Pike in Lower Southampton.

Investigators found a 29-year-old male victim lying unconscious in the parking lot. He had serious facial and head trauma and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

Surveillance Footage and Vehicle Discovery

Surveillance video showed the driver of a white Volkswagen Jetta deliberately driving towards five people. The vehicle struck the victim, two other pedestrians, and two parked vehicles.

Officers later found the vehicle abandoned a mile away in the TJ Maxx parking lot on East Street Road. The vehicle had significant front-end damage, blood on the hood, and a shattered windshield. It was registered to Gasitashvili.
