Man Arrested After Non-Fatal Stabbing in White Lake Township
WHITE LAKE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (FOX 2) – A man is set to appear in court after his arrest related to a non-fatal stabbing at a home in White Lake Township over the weekend.
Details of the Incident
The 42-year-old defendant, Abdou Sall, is scheduled for arraignment on Tuesday afternoon.
On January 10, at 12 p.m., police received a 911 call from a child at a residence on Mead Lane.
The juvenile caller reported that his parents were fighting and needed help. While police were on their way, the child called again and said his father had stabbed his mother.
Police Response
When officers arrived at the home in the 1700 block of Mead Lane, they found a 42-year-old man in the driveway. He was detained without incident before police entered the house.
Inside, they discovered a 40-year-old woman lying face down on the floor with a stab wound in her back.
Victim’s Condition and Charges
Emergency medical crews were called, and the victim was taken to the hospital. She is currently in stable condition.
The suspect is being held at the Oakland County Jail and is expected in court for his arraignment at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police are recommending charges of assault with intent to murder.
