Brothers Killed in Florida Business Shooting

Two men shot at a Florida business on Monday were brothers who owned the business. They were killed by a man connected to a multi-million fraud case involving the business.

Boynton Beach Police reported that Charles Geragi, 67, and Richard Geragi, 72, were murdered inside their All-American Farms at about 4 p.m., according to WPTV.

The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Nesar Dawla, shot himself after leading police on a brief chase following the shooting.

Police quickly identified the suspect and located his vehicle, as reported by CrimeOnline. Dawla sped away when officers attempted a traffic stop and later crashed.

Officers saw him shoot himself while he was driving, WPTV stated.

The Geragis had arranged to meet with Dawla Monday afternoon to discuss the return of money defrauded by Dawla’s brother, Sadman Dawla. Sadman was convicted of defrauding the Geragis of more than $5 million in 2024. During the meeting, Nesar Dawla produced a firearm and shot the Geragis.

Investigators believe that Nesar Dawla was involved in the fraud, but they did not find evidence to support charges at that time.

According to WPEC, Sadman Dawla is scheduled to be sentenced on Thursday.
